ISI provided services from September, 2005 to July, 2010 for the site work, infrastructure and construction of a new 338,681 sq ft, 150-bed hospital and shelled space for future expansion. The project includes a new 25,000 sq ft central utilities plant (CUP) to support the new hospital, new medical office building, and portions of the existing office building. This $500 million dollar project was completed 2009.
Project scope included excavation and backfill of trenches, placement of pre-insulated welded re-circulating water pipes, deep excavation of basement, temporary retaining wall at basement, grading and paving of parking lots, and a three to five feet deep concrete mat foundation. Kaiser Vacaville New Hospital, Site Work and CUP projects were under OSHPD jurisdiction. The MOB and Site Work (grading only) projects were under the jurisdiction of the City of Vacaville.
