ISI operates a full service Geotechnical Laboratory equipped to perform all of the common and many of the advanced geotechnical tests required by our clients. Located in Berkeley, this laboratory is inspected by, and maintains accreditations, with AMRL/AASHTO and Caltrans as well as enrolled in the Reference Sample Program.

Our lab supervisor, John Hunt, has over 17 years of experience and is a certified NICET Level III, American Concrete Institute (ACI) in Concrete Lab Testing Technician Level 1, Concrete Strength Testing Level 1, Aggregate Testing Technician Level 1, Concrete Field Testing Technician Grade 1 and is certified in various Caltrans Test Methods.
