ISI provided materials quality control and quality assurance, and comprehensive special inspection services for this new Merritt campus building that will provide facilities for programs in life sciences, physical sciences, mathematics, and allied health. Classrooms feature wet, dry, and simulation labs. The building also features “learning neighborhoods” that each include faculty and administrative offices and instructional support spaces. The facility makes possible new instructional programs including microscopy and genomics. The building was designed using sustainability principles (LEED Gold) – acoustics, lighting, indoor air quality, daylight, and views all enhance the educational experience.
