Remodel of existing structure required anchor proof Load Testing, Anchor Installation inspection, concrete testing/inspection, general inspection, masonry inspection, shear wall nailing inspection, reinforcing steel placement Inspection, and field welding inspection
	Safeway, 145 Jackson St., San Francisco, CA This is a one story structural steel frame retail supermarket, consisting of approximately 4,000 square feet. ISI inspectors provided Feroscan for structural steel floor, placement for coring. Anchor testing and torque testing were also performed on this project as mandated by the building code.
	Walgreens Drugstore #4517, San Francisco, CA New facility is a one story wood frame retail space, consisting of approximately 5,000 sf. ISI inspectors provided anchor proof load tests and anchor installation inspection, concrete testing/inspection, roof-nailing inspection, reinforcing steel placement testing/inspection and shop welding inspection.
	Abovenet Communications, 160 Harrison St., San Francisco Following ISI's initial pre-construction building investigations and report of as-built existing conditions and materials testing results, we were awarded the special inspection/testing contract for this 1943 four story concrete seismic retrofit and remodel project. This super fast track $100 million project was completed in 8 months. ISI's services included inspection and testing for concrete, shotcrete, drilled-in concrete anchors, rooftop structural steel, installation of a new friction pendulum base-isolation system plus ten generators for emergency power. The structural steel rooftop framing was fabricated in Arizona with 2 shifts. The fast track construction was around-the-clock and on Saturdays and often required staffing of 4 on-site inspectors.
